The Locale.

(the offsite)

I am the Locale of this Offsite (or the Offsite of this Locale?) and built this site as a small side project.
Here I usually put things like lists of things I currently enjoy, what media I enjoy, writings, works and other stuff I find and want to archive!

This website is built to work like a growinng organism, so some pages might be unfinished, others might become endless.
Kind of like a very specific archive catered to one and everything at once I suppose!

But who are you?

I go by Liz, and am currently studying for my Bachelors Degree in Art, Design and Technology.
I come from a graphic design background and am fascinated by webdesign, the internet and archives!

I still have to learn a lot about webdesign, especially the more technical aspects of it, but the Locale is a good testing ground to both have fun and get the skills I need.

That's cool, but who are "you"?

I'm a concept, written into a cool document called "who.html"

for real though:

  • I go by she/her
  • I like to be pretentious and quote unrelevant sentences from well known books
  • I spend a lot of time (too much time) writing into two journals
  • (as evident) I am not that good with grammar or spelling. I like writing very much though, so I suffer with a smile :)
  • I tend to write like someone is reading, a bad habit.

What do you like?

I enjoy many things differently at different times, but currentl I especially enjoy:

  1. Ghost Trick (The OG DS version animations slap so hard)
  2. CYAN world classics (MYST / RIVEN / URU)
  3. Linguistics
  4. Dead websites
  5. House of Leaves (forever engraved into my brain)
